On Sunday, a team of four amazing runners laced up their trainers and took on the Great West Run—all in support of SNUG. And what a day it was! Full of energy, emotion, and community spirit, the event was a beautiful reminder of what can be achieved when people come together for a cause that truly matters.
The team ran not just with determination, but with unity. From the first mile to the finish line, they supported one another, kept each other motivated, and crossed the line together—a true reflection of SNUG’s core values: compassion, connection, and care.
Despite the challenge, each runner absolutely smashed their target times, driven by the knowledge that every step they took was helping to raise vital funds for families with premature or sick babies. Their dedication, both in training and on the day, has been nothing short of inspiring.
The atmosphere throughout the day was electric. Crowds gathered to cheer from the sidelines, creating a real buzz across the whole route. Friends, family members, SNUG supporters, and total strangers united in support of all the participants, adding to what was already a fun, family-friendly, and uplifting event.
A special thank you goes to our runners—you’ve gone above and beyond, and we are so proud of what you’ve achieved. To everyone who donated, your generosity will go a long way in helping us provide comfort and support to families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Every penny raised is a step towards making a difference.
And of course, to the families of our runners—thank you for your unwavering encouragement and belief. From early mornings to training runs, and everything in between, your support has been crucial.
This event was more than just a race—it was a celebration of resilience, teamwork, and community. It reminded us all why SNUG exists, and how important our mission is.
We’re feeling inspired, humbled, and grateful—and we’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year!
Until then, thank you for standing with SNUG. 💙
