Last year we put on a Fancy Dress Parade to raise awareness for premature and sick babies, and raise funds for SNUG to help us carry on supporting local SCBU/NNU families. We were AMAZED by how hard the North Devon community worked and came together for what was an amazing and fun morning!
This year, we are going to do it all over again – but bigger and better!
So you are invited to dig out your favourite fancy dress costumes and come on down to join us for some tasty food, fun games and a great big parade! We can’t wait! It’s going to be a fun morning for all the family – so make sure to invite everyone you know and get ready to make some memories!
Want to just come along for the raffle, food and fun, but don’t fancy joining in the parade? That is totally fine too! We can’t wait to see you!!
Saturday 29th June, 11am – Instow Cricket Club
What will be happening when?
11:00 – Time to get all registered and signed up to the fancy dress competition – just £5 a family (plus a free raffle ticket!) with three categories – Best Dressed Family, Best Dressed Child and Best Dressed Baby – every child will get a certificate for entering and there are great prizes up for grabs! This is now the perfect time to have a look at the stalls around – play some games and win some prizes or get a glitter tattoo!
12:00 – Let the PARADE BEGIN!! We will do a short march heading away from the starting point, then looping back around along to beach and ending back where we started
13:00 – Time for some food! We are going to be putting on a classic kids party buffet (and yes it’s for the adults too!) – once you’ve filled yourself up, there will be another chance to play some games and win some prizes! Make sure to have purchased all your raffle tickets, as it’s now time to announce the winners! FINGERS CROSSED!
Before the event make sure to set up your sponsorship page so you can show off to everyone how amazing you are by supporting such a good cause, and to encourage people to sponsor you for joining in the parade to shout out loud about how amazing our babies are!

Raffle Time!
We have so many amazing prizes up for grabs in our raffle this year – loads of vouchers, family days out and other unique local gifts. Raffle tickets are just £1 per ticket, and will be available to buy in person on the day (if they haven’t all sold before then!).
