What a day!
On Sunday 7th June, families from across North Devon gathered at North Devon Cricket Club in Instow for SNUGFEST 2026, and we couldn't have asked for a better celebration of community, connection, and support for neonatal families.
Despite the windy weather, the smiles never stopped. We were delighted to welcome so many familiar faces from our SNUG community, alongside lots of new families joining us for the very first time. Seeing everyone come together in support of such an important cause made the day truly special.
The festival atmosphere was incredible from start to finish. Families enjoyed live music throughout the day, with plenty of dancing, laughter, and entertainment for all ages. The bouncy castle was a huge hit, children got creative with festival crafts, and there was no shortage of fun across the football skills zone, baby play area, and family activities.
One of the highlights of the day was our charity bake sale, which completely sold out! A huge thank you to everyone who baked, donated, and purchased cakes. Your generosity was overwhelming, and every contribution will help us continue supporting families navigating neonatal care.
Visitors also enjoyed delicious food, ice cream treats, face painting, raffle prizes, and all the little moments that make community events so memorable. From families relaxing together on picnic blankets to children making new friends, SNUGFEST was filled with joy from beginning to end.
Most importantly, the event raised vital awareness and support for SNUG's work. Every ticket purchased, raffle entered, and donation made helps us continue providing peer support, welcome packs, family meet-ups, information, and ongoing care for families with babies in neonatal units across our region.
Events like SNUGFEST remind us just how powerful community can be. To everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, performed, baked, sponsored, or helped behind the scenes—thank you. Your support enables us to continue making a difference to families when they need it most.
We're incredibly grateful for the amazing turnout and the wonderful atmosphere you helped create. SNUGFEST 2026 was a fantastic success, and we're already looking forward to seeing you all again next year.
